First Impression | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】
After staying in the city for about 2 days, it is time for first impressions. Canada is nothing like singapore, firstly, it is extremely big. If you dont have an idea how big it is, let me use this example,Normally a 5 hours flight from Singapore would get you to Shanghai, or Beijing, in canada, a 5 hours flight would still end up being a domestic flight. This is how big the whole country is.
The people here are very nice, always service with a smile : ) No prejudice against other races as well, everyone is being treated as equal.
Life here is also very different from other people, although there are pavement alongside all of the roads, very little people actually use them. everyone here owns cars and it is not uncommon to see a bungalow with 4 cars parked in front of it. The only places where you will find people is in the malls, which is just about what you will find in Singapore. Food courts take a new meaning in Canada, what you get is stalls normally associated with fast food restaurants in singapore, such as Subway, Taco Bell, A & W, what you do is buy from any of these stalls and more and then sit down and eat at an open area, where there are tables and chairs. Something like a giant fast food, restaurant, albeit with much more choices.
Someone is coming to pick us up with 2 cars tomorrow and on Sunday, we are going to the niagara falls
Excited

Canada Part 1 | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】
As promised , I would be posting my travels to Canada constantly through mobile blogging and this is my first part of the whole tripLeft my house in the morning, took a flight to the city of Shanghai, before transiting to the flight to Vancouver, then transiting to another flight to Toronto. Finally after approximately 20 hours on the roads, we have finally arrived at our destination....
Canada is a great place, there are huge plains and very little high rise building from what we have saw.
The people here are also extremely friendly and nice :)
Signing off now as I am going off to sightseeing now, it is 11.30 in the morning here you see...

Death | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】
Death is something we all cant escape, we cant prolong it, we cant stop it from happening, when it is going to happen, it is going to happen. No force in the whole can halt the natural processes of life. However, sometimes, we have to really stop and think about death, before it is too late and it takes the delicate life of someone away with just a click of time......It is often when they are gone do you start to reflect what they have done to you and how have they shaped your growth.
It is often when they are gone do you start to miss the times that you spend with them
It is often when they are gone do you start to yearn for their company
It is often when they are going do you start to weep and cry for them
Treasure and hold on to the people that means to you, before they release their grip, leaving you in complete devastation
Amidst all the happiness and celebrations of national day and the Olympics, I drench myself in my sorrows, knowing that he would never be able to view the Games, held for the first time in his country
If only Death was late, very late....
