A lot of things have happened this week, went out on Monday for some really expensive dinner at Singapore Island country club, all thanks to Gary :)went out for a RGs musical yesterday with the rest of the Hp Ortus boys, it was really funny, the actresses' expressions and the way they fit to their roles is really amazing. and the best part being, it was based on the theme of Britney Spears, yea
Went out for supper at Mac's along orchard road, it was really crowded even at this later hour, Jonas, being himself again, helped us get some seats at the outdoor Macdonalds just outside of lido. Had our fair share of food and drinks, before we realised that it had been past 11pm, our CURFEW!
LOL, Jonas, aki and Edwin went to the bus stop first, only to be met with the horrors that 171 does not go to Orchard due to the missing display at the neXtbus info screen. LOL, i had to go and calm them down before a 171 arrived
Next week is going to be another hectic week, SLC outing, going out with Randy etc

went to E hub yesterday for an outing. Started off in a bad note, the ever not trustworthy SHEN BAOLIN, only told me that he could not made it the last minutes, claiming that he chose to go night fishing =Gay party) with his friends (Boys)Then, the next morning, I made a special effort to wake up early to go to E hub, only realising that Zhou Quan cant make it cause he overslept and has something on, Hong De and Zi Liang were late AS USUAL. Bu alas, after much waiting, I met up with them and we took a cab to E hub.
Started off with bowling after alex came, alex owned as usual, following by me (with the only strike in the game) and Hongde. Zi Liang came in a diatant last, but good try, considering his tall frame which poses a problem when throwing the ball. Wilfred and Chay Choong came and we had lunch at some Chicken rice place, frankly speaking, the food is expensive and not very nice, wasted $6.80.
There was some debate over what movie we should watch, I wanted to watch Lakeview terrace, but the rest wanted 007, so in the end, we went to watch 007, I was a bit bored actually, coz I did not watch the previous bond film, besides, I do not really have that much interest in action bond films. After the movie, Hong de went home.
For me wilfred and chay choong, since it was still earlier 4.30pm, we decided to go play arcade, played a few rounds of 'Thrill drive", lol. Then we got addicted to the lame machines where we can get tickets in exchange for coupons
"Hit the dogs" we are supposed to hit the dogs that have popped up from the hole, lol, with 5 hands and 1 paddle we managed to own the game so badly man
"Spongebob Ticket machine" we are supposed to hit the floor when it lights up , with a music pro in our group, again needless to say, we own the game
In the end, we managed to rack up 85 tickets in exchange for a pencil case for my Brother (Since it was MY money)
Since I still had some cash in my TAPZ card, we played some lame games like the Bishi bishi champion (Something like that). The one with the red, blue and green buttons and we are
supposed to press it in the order specified. LOL, kena owned by the other 2 ppl so badly
Just came back from Orchard again, will blog about today tmr

went out with David o watch movie again, this time Lakeview Terrace starring Samuel L Jackson, the whole thing was not bad, I kind of like the whole plot about inter racial marriages and everything, but I have to admit that it was a bit dreary. The ending was not what I expected and put a nice closure to the whole episode. Samuel L Jackson's acting is once again great, really portrayed the whole character of an estranged policeman well :)After that went off to Takashimaya to visit Randy who is working there (see randy's blog for more details) searched the toys department of the main Taka mall and realised that he doesn't work there at all. Instead, he was working at the B2 Taka square area where there was a big sale on toys. It was so crowded as all the toys were on massive sale (Typically Singaporeans)
Walked past the cashier counters and realised that they are really overstaffed, over 10 seemingly part time workers under the tentage with only a few customers. Maybe, it is the wrong timing, Monday afternoon, everyone is working. Tried to buy something for my brother, but realised the toys are either too complex or too girly, yucks
Had lunch at Pepper Lunch, which unsurprisingly is hiring part time workers and the whole restaurant is filled with part timers. Gosh!
So looking forward (No sarcasm intended) tomorrow when I will go to E! Hub with Baolin, ZQ, Alex, Hong de and Wilfred

As quoted from matt's blog 'rare chance to go marina barrage le summore so far away frm my hse, i rly wan to go there again sia'Amazingly, despite just going there yesterday in the green race, my family decided to go there today morning for a family outing. *lols* As usual, there was a whole lot of people around the area, just like yesterday, but instead of going to the places, they were instead streaming out of the marina barrage. apparcntly tehre was some big water walk and it has just finished. Nonetheless it was still crowded....
Walked around, explored the place then go home liao, nothing spectacular

Participated in the green race today, made so many stupid mistakes and in the end causing our group to be disqualified as we were late into the finish point by 13 minutesMistake 1) Complete failure of our team's communication at the first pit stop....Hongde became separated from our group and was not to be found for another 15 mins, again wasting precious time. roamed around Plaza Singapura to find out something that we could crap out in just a few minutes... More precious time wasted
Mistake 2) Failed to plan our route properly, resulting in a waste of time travelling. My Fault. Period
Mistake 3) at the Macpherson CC pit stop, a seemingly impossible task is taking us a long time to finish, but apparently to my group members stuck in their childhood years, it was fun to throw an odd trash ball down 2 storeys, again wasting precious time before I blew up (figuratively) and forced everyone to change to another task. as in turns out, it is much easier
Mistake 4) My limited vocab killed me here, I believed all words ending with 'al' have to end with 'cal', leading to everyone thinking of words such as 'ecological', 'economical'. Only with Hongde's dictionary did we found out the eventual word 'external'. Hmm, at least I learnt something new today, there ARE words ending with 'nal' lol. My fault again
after recounting these mistakes, I have finally realised that with all of them put together, it just completely screwed up our race. This is a completely different experience from 'Finding NEBO", where we made only a few small errors
Haiz, never mind la, at least it was fun :)

P.S: after comparing the green race and 'finding NEBO' race, I have found out that choosing the right teammates with complementing personalities plays a great part in the outcome of the race, you definitely dont want to be arguing and shouting at your teammates throughout the race....you should get what I mean
