Why am I doing this? | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】

A lot of acquaintances when I meet them would ask me 'Why you still go for blocks arh?' 'Quit school and stop studying until you leave la!'

School is not just about the blocks and the endless tutorial and lectures, there is definitely more to it than just such superficial events. In school, there are friends the we treasure and care for each other. It makes studying something you want to do, together, as a class..

Today, while studying with friends, I suddenly realised the reason behind my reluctance to study at home, its all about the company. I guess some of us out there would disagree, but I am a 'group', I value friends and confidants more than anything. And probably thats what spurred me to continue school and mug for the blocks.

There are somethings that are just hard to leave behind and you would want to spend all the time that is left with them and that is true friends.

So, the next time someone asks me the same question, the very clear and obvious answer would be "Its all because of you"

A hectic week | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】

Started off with Shopping 1.0, got new clothes, a new AA bag, jeans(I didnt really want 2 pairs of almost the same jeans, but the $100 voucher is just too irresistible to not spend it on another pair) haha, the spendthrift in me is really dominant here >.<

Monday, old pals meet up, catch up with each other and came over to my house, had quite a lot of fun playing cards, chit chatting, badminton, bla bla. Talked a bit about what we had planned to do once we leave this place and really, it is always fascinating to be able to explore one anothers interest.
Its only during this kind of gatherings do you realise how other people think and awe at their big dreams and ambitions. Its then you realise how different we are, albeit being classmates for the whole of secondary school life.

Class Chalet, started off fine, met Shufen and crystal, who was late due to the stupid MRT delay which eventually affected everyone that came later than them. Got some fruits and soy sauce, which interestingly was left untouched after the whole thing -.- We were the earliest to the chalet, but since Swee and gang in the van (it rhymes) have not reached we can only sit around at the check in area and wait like idiots.

when they did arrive, I really couldnt help it but laugh at them, cause the van was so powerless that for moment it was going to roll back on the small slope leading to the drop off point, okay la, no offence to swee or anything, but I dont really like commercial vehicles.

Some people went WWW, I didnt bring enough clothes, so I went Gelare with crystal and shufen, not a bad choice lor, it was half price tues HAHA, the waffles are seriously super big there lor, eat until full liao

steamboat was nice although I didnt really eat much, was in the room chatting and listening to our amazing guitarist, weiming :)

Then it was arcade, chatting, a bit of mahjong and going to watch sunrise, which turned out to be a disappointment cause, there was no sunrise to talk about -.-

second day was less eventful, went for pool and arcade, then mahjong again, cards bla bla bla

Last day was just pack up, go home and sleep zzzzz

Friday was shopping 1.5, went to Jurong Point with my mum, had some chinese buffet, which wasnt really very nice, but it was the only buffet there anyway haha. Got new shoes, water bottle, bag, pencil case, shorts, earphones and some stationery. Had some mccafe frappe before rushing to night safari

haha, night safari was really run, walking the trails and joking around as we visited each of the exihibits, expecting something but usually ended up looking at tree trunks that looked like leopards or staring at fellow homo sapiens in various positions on some moving device.

BUT BUT the animal show was really cool, we were there quite late so everywhere is super packed, but apparently, there was one row right in the middle that is completely empty, obviouslt common sense would tell you to sit there, but such a prime seat and its completely empty, definitely raises eyebrows lor. True enough, halfway through the show, the stupid host acted some emergency situation and scared us out of our wits when they screamed as they approached out row, omgosh, swee jul and bernice and me was super shocked and screaming like mad lor -.- jingwei was like wtf is going on..... Overall, it is a fun experience

Saturday, shopping 2.0, wa, the pc show is really super crowded, spend an hour inside and eventually bought the Canon IXUS 95, its quite worth it lor with all the free gifts and everything....also bought a Samsung 500GB hardisk that comes with free anti virus, finally something to replace my AVG free :)

Received my tickets, flying on Emirates via dubai on the A380

Bike Hike and its aftermath | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】

Bike hike was in short...an experience that I should not have signed up for in the first place, all the muscles aches, the pain and the agony is something that cannot be descibed by words alone. It was fine at first, everyone was in high spirits, talking and chatting to each other, however, as the morning came and as we powered on, the dread and the fatigue has started to set in and very soon, we are all half dead -.-

Gave up like halfway through the whole thing as I was seriously too tired to do anything, my legs were all numb, slept on the truck as we picked up more and more stranded people along the route.........

Holidays, its not really a time for us to relax, everyday is packed with activties: going out with classmates, mugigng for the dreaded blocks, visitors coming and going and SHOPPING, finally I get to do some serious shopping and spend some quality time with my mum :)

excited to the brim
