2008 has finally come to an end and i think it would be great to countdown my 10 most exciting happenings this year

10. Batch Dinner 2008 -This was really one of the best days of my life, taking pictures, mingling around with friends teachers for one last night before we go our separate ways in 2009

9. The Quest 2008 - This was the first national amazing race that I have participated with 5 of my closest friends. It was certainly a once in a lifetime experience for me we won something : ) Allowed me to learn more about my personality and others as well. Lets participate again in 2009 guys

8.Emcee for Founder's Day 2008 - Hmm, to some this might not seem as much. However, inside me, being emcee for this grand event with even the media present is one of the chapters of my life that I would never forget. It has gave me self-confidence, allowing me to be able to tackle even greater challenges ahead.

7. Esplanade Concert 2008 - This is my first and probably going to be my last time performing at such a prestigious place. A unique experience ; )

6. HCISO Farewell Chalet - I am really grateful to the junior excos for organizing such a farewell party for us, it makes us really feel appreciated in this musical family. I believed everyone had a fun time and it definitely ended our HCISO life with a BANG (No pun intended)

5. Project Benevolence 2008: My first service learning project and definitely NOT my last. It was a roller coaster ride by we have rode it out. Thanks to Naifu, Yi Cheng and Wilfred for making this possible. For just the journey alone, it has landed on the fifth spot.

4. Chronicles of Strings: Serenada (dont know how to type Russian) 2008: Another great concert and it is possibly considered the swansong for us sec 4s in HCISO. Definitely a success and allowed me to experience the HCISO spirit for the one last time. Also, it is probably a good time to wish HCISO a great year ahead!

3. Canada 2008 - This trip is special in 2 ways 1. It was during school days, so I was enjoying myself while the rest of you are slugging throught tons of homework and lessons Haha 2. Its the first time that I have been to Canada and only the second time to the distant continent of North America. Not just a holiday, it allowed me to understand their culture and way of life much better

2. OSA Recipient 2008 - This was the best surprise for me in 2008, just a few months ago, I thought all my hopes of getting this was dashed by my dismal math results. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I received my report card 1.34, I have my OSA. All this years of hard work....

And the number one happening of 2008 for me and I am sure for many others would be..........

It had been a completely wild experience for us. Late nights everyday, going out for shopping every weekend, doing whatever we like. Really hoped that it was for more than one month. For all the thrills, laughter and friends made during that one month, it is the TOP happening for me in 2008.
