Dad's Birthday | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】
Celebrated my dad's birthday on Saturday. Initially wanted to go for the sushi buffet at Sakae sushi, but in the end we went to the new Jurong Point instead.WTF, the place is colossal, with over 2000 car parking lots, will get lost just trying to find your car one lor! Roamed around the place looking for nice food, Zhou's Kitchen, Dian Xiao Er, Pizza Hut, etc etc, all looked a bit too shabby. So in the end, we chose japanese and went for Kuishin Bo Authentic Japanese buffet at the japanese food street.
Definitely not cheap, S$33 per person, but there is wide spread of japanese delicacy, all kinds of sashimi, oysters, crabs, prawns, shellfish, and the usual Japanese teppanyaki, and tempura, soba, ramen. There is even the paper steamboat and chocolate fondue, which isnt exactly japanese, but nice nonetheless.
Dessert include Japanese ice cream, mochi balls, chocolate and strawberry mousse, and cakes.
Drinks are also include in the price.
It was a great meal, stuffed ourselves full of sashimi and the really tasty crabs on ice.
Next, Mariott/Ritz carlton for my Grandfather's birthday
