Can u imagine, it has been a week, a freaking since I last posted, since I had my bio test, since I enjoyed my friday night and now, it is here again. My time left in Columbia International College seems to be getting shorter and shorter very quickly and sometimes Im not sure it is a good thing or not. No doubt, I am owning the people and the subjects here (other than handicraft, in which I am extremely bad at -.-) but I am wondering how would all these change when I enter university, which is less than a year from now. LESS THAN A YEAR!OMGosh, I never realised that until right now right here, I think im still stuck in my dreamworld of having teachers that care about you and looks after you, I need to move our of such a cocoon.
Argh... there are so many things to do this weekend, revise math, bio notes making (the teacher actually asked us to make our own notes -.-) and prepare for enlish seminar presentations, haiz, work work and more work.......

A long overdued post | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】
Guess the whole week I have been busy fiddling with my iPod. Finally, the hype is over and I have settled with my new accessory haha. This week is full of ups and downs really. I got top in English again and got all Excellents for my progress report. BUT I failed my bio quiz, 4/9, it is so embarrassing la, failing a 9 multiple choice worksheet, I feel so useless haizOn a brighter note though, I was the only soul who bothered to do my biology homework today, which got the teacher mad cause the rest of the class did not bother to do it at all. So I was discussing the questions with her one to one and she leaked one of the questions of the test. Aha! A good sign that I am going to do decently for the test.
Same, for english, I was the only few who did the worksheet, the teacher was so pissed that she set the worksheet as a quiz, and I had so much things to write I didnt finish. -.- that so sucks
so that concludes another week
Time really flies

A day in Toronto | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】
today was epic, went out in the early morning to toronto via the GO bus. it was supposed to take only around 1 hour, but there was some kind of jam enroute so it turned out to be more than that around an hour and a half.First went to have lunch at some chinese restaurant in Chinatown which we over ordered and there were like 2 plates of unfinished food. AND there is the issue of tipping, we at first didnt want to tip anything, but the chinese waitresses started to gave us a lecture that all of us have to tup and it must be 10%. It was so WTF lor. she is such a bitch.
Then it was shopping again yay! walked to eaton centre which is like the biggest shopping mall in ontario, its a province btw if u dont noe haha... wow, there are so many nice shops. Bought a shoebag from addidas, 1 running pants and 1 track pants from nike and some miscellaneous stuff. BUT the highlight must be the dinner, we at first wanted to go japanese and head down to the japanese restaurants back around the chinatown area, however, just as we were walking out of the shopping mall, there was someone giving out flyers about an international buffet having 25% off.....its such a coincidence lor. So we went and it was definitely an experience.
The restaurant is called 'woo', can google it, their ambience is super modern and cool and they have lobsters inclusive in the buffet, fish, mussels, ice cream (matcha), a huge variety of foods and salad. Certainly worth the 20 bucks we paid after taxes...definitely would come back again XD
still looking forward to the end of the semester

Afterthoughts | Written by 【 Uniquely XC™ 】
After some time thinking to myself and after somethings happened today, it really cheered me up. I really look forward to everyday to pass. A huge burden of mine seem to have been lifted from my chest and I feel so liberated. Lessons are no longer so dreadful, it now seems fun and enjoyable and weeks are flying by. I have been in Canada for almost a month. A MONTH! I cant believe, a month, it is so fast......3 weeks into school and we are starting to have projects and independent research projects XD but i think they are really easy. I love my bio lab project group, they are all super nice people that I can laugh and interact with super easily! Love it!
Things are certainly starting to brighter here but lets not forget the process that brought me to who and where I am today.
Really looking forward to the end of the semester yea :D
